After registration, schedule your exam using the NMAT dashboard. Choose preferred test mode: at a centre or online proctored from home. Rescheduling is allowed (limited to 24 hours before your slot) with applicable fee.

You can register at https://www.mba.com/exams/nmat starting August 1, 2025. Sign up, fill out your personal and academic details, upload required documents, choose your preferred B-schools, and pay the application fee. Once registered, you can schedule your exam slot.

It depends on your goals. CAT is required for IIMs and top-tier B-schools and is tougher with negative marking and higher competition. NMAT is more speed-based, adaptive, and offers flexibility in scheduling and retakes. If NMIMS or similar colleges are your target, NMAT is a great option.
