✅ CAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Before filling out the application, make sure you meet the following requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.

  • Minimum Marks:

    • General, EWS, NC-OBC: 50% aggregate

    • SC, ST, PwD: 45% aggregate

  • Final-Year Students: Eligible with a provisional certificate by June 2026.

  • Age Limit: No upper age limit.

  • Attempts Limit: No cap on the number of attempts.

  • Class 10, 12, and graduation certificates

  • Category certificate (if applicable)

    • Visit iimcat.ac.in

    • Click on “New Candidate Registration”

    • Fill in your name, date of birth, email, and mobile number

    • Verify OTP sent to your mobile/email

    • Log in with the provided credentials

    • Fill Application Form:

      • Personal details

      • Academic qualifications

      • Work experience (if any)

    • Upload Documents

    • Choose Test Cities (Up to 5 preferences)

    • Select IIM Programs and courses

    • Pay the Application Fee

    • Submit the Form

    • Download Confirmation Page & Payment Receipt

    • Form Correction Window: Opens tentatively from Sept 22–25, 2025 for editing specific fields.

    • Admit Card Download: From November 5, 2025, using CAT login credentials.

    • Exam Day: Sunday, November 30, 2025, in 3 slots.

    • Result Declaration: Likely in the first week of January 2026.

    • IIM Shortlisting Process: Based on CAT score + WAT/GD/PI rounds.
