These words became a quiet anthem in the back of my mind—a constant reminder that I couldn’t afford to let go of my dream. As I pen down this journey from being an average student to converting IIM Lucknow with a 97.9 percentile in CAT.
“Belling the CAT” wasn’t just a phrase—it was a vision I held with open eyes and a heart full of determination. But dreams come at a cost. Mine demanded hard work, sacrifice, resilience, and above all—the right mentor.

The False Start

I first attempted the exam after joining one of the so-called “best” online coaching institutes. I trusted their brand and promises, but the results were disappointing. The content didn’t match the exam’s demand, and the mentorship felt distant and impersonal.

That failure left me disheartened. But somewhere inside, I knew I wasn’t done yet.

The Turning Point: Discovering Quantifiers

With doubts clouding my confidence and only a flicker of hope, I reached out to Sahil Sir from Quantifiers around May. That decision—though taken with hesitation—turned out to be the best one I’ve ever made.
From day one, Sahil Sir didn’t just teach. He mentored. He studied my strengths and weaknesses closely, and together, we built a custom strategy that maximized my strong areas while slowly chipping away at my weak spots.
And the result? My greatest fear—DILR—became my strongest suit. We solved 300+ sets, each one an opportunity to learn, refine, and conquer the fear. It’s still hard for me to understand how he did it—but whether it was 10 AM or 3 AM, Sahil Sir would be there to solve doubts, review mocks, or share feedback. He wasn’t just a teacher—he was a constant presence. Ask any Quantifiers student—they’ll tell you the same!
And in a world where flashy content and distractions are everywhere, I stuck to just one thing: His words. His plan. His belief in me. I didn’t use any other YouTube channel, book, or platform. I just trusted Quantifiers—and myself.

From 97.9 %ile to IIM Lucknow – The Final Stretch

Even after the result, when I was celebrating my percentile, the first thing Sahil Sir said was—“Now start your GD-PI prep.” Not “post on Facebook” or “thank Quantifiers”—he just pushed me forward. Because that’s who he is.
With his mock interviews, honest feedback, and continuous guidance, I gained the confidence to crack the final step. And finally, I made it—my dream B-school, IIM Lucknow, was mine.

More Than Just an Exam

This journey wasn’t just about CAT. It was about discipline, mentorship, belief, and pushing through when giving up felt easier. It’s about learning lessons that I’ll carry for life.
