Answering Like a Pro:

  • Be Honest and Authentic: Don’t try to be someone you’re not. Let your personality shine through.
  • Structure Your Answers: Use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to provide clear and concise responses.
  • Back Up Your Claims: Don’t just state your strengths; provide examples to support them.
  • Stay Calm and Composed: Even if you don’t know the answer to a question, stay calm and try to articulate your thoughts logically. It’s okay to say you don’t know something, but show a willingness to learn.

Examples of Common GDPI Questions and How to Tackle Them:

  • “Tell me about yourself.” This is your elevator pitch. Briefly summarize your background, highlighting key achievements and aspirations. Focus on what is relevant to the MBA program.

  • “Why MBA?” This is your chance to explain your motivations and how an MBA will help you achieve your career goals. Be specific and show that you’ve done your research.

  • “What are your strengths and weaknesses?” Choose strengths that are relevant to the program and frame your weaknesses as areas for growth.

  • “Why do you want to join this institute?” Talk about the institute’s unique strengths (faculty’s alumni, infrastructure, etc.) and show how their programs align with your goals.
